Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
Wake up to reality because in each case WHU, WBA and Everton are desperate to avoid relegation. And just who was available to take on these three jobs because it looks like Dyche, Silva et al are tied up right now and would prefer to stay with their present clubs. Unsworth is proving that not just anyone can do the job and Megson, of anyone, looks a shade unlucky to be brushed aside for Pardew.

Now does anyone care to predict which of these theee will last the longest at his new club?

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
It fascinates me that top flight football clubs don't seem to have any idea on what playing philosophy they want at their club. Everton tried to approach Silva who seems to like to play football on the floor but Watford wouldn't allow them to speak so Everton go and get Allardyce whose philosophy is as far removed as you can get from football on the floor. Really weird I thought they would go for Dyche.

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
If a man who sees a lack of failure as the same thing as being successful is who you want for your club then sams your man.

He's won nothing, personally or with his clubs because his focus is all on making sure the opposition fail and not on his team succeeding. Keeping a clean sheet and hoping for a goal instead of looking for a goal first.

English football will never progress properly as long as the likes of big sam and pulis are used as a fall back for teams because every team they go to gets short term stability/safety in exchange for sacrificing long term ambition

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
Out of Moyes, Allardyce and Pardew, who were the 3 managers that have recently been employed, i would certainly have chosen Moyes last.

I would have had Redknapp for the rest of this season over Moyes as well.

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
Interestingly there was hardly any that said they would have Moyes back over Allardyce on the other thread they have PD.

Most have said he's West Ham's problem and is taking them down. I agree i think they will stay up with BFS and we will go down with the zero personality dinosaur.

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
good luck to him, he has certain methods that are effective in keeping teams up but not so great when they are trying to push on.

above all he loves himself and he loves money - he's only ever taken one risk and that was Newcastle.......... we all know how that went.

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
But we were told by all the Moyes luvvies that statistically the first game affect is percent wise not good. So what excuse will they have for Moyes tonight if we don't get a result?

Can see Everton scoring early and winning 3-0

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager
Forget BFS, the only thing that can prevent us winning tonight is ourselves.

They are even more crap than us, utter crap in fact. As long as we go out to work, run and win we will get 3 points. First goal critical, and then chase another and so on. If we go out and sit back defending a 0-0 then we deserve to lose.

Up the Hammers!

As one blue put it 'this means that we are now officially shit' Or as another said 'we have sold our soul'

A disgraceful appointment. This fat greedy anti-football fuck has no right to be managing that club.

They have that midget fraud cunt Sammy LEE too.

Re: Allardyce - new Everton manager

I have enjoyed many a game when we haven't been in the top flight. if i wanted to just support a team that won then i'd support someone else. I support West Ham because were a working mans club.

The fact we have taken on someone that is devoured of personality for the hope of the Holy Grail of staying in the Premiership as if that is the only things that exists and matters in football.

If wanting us to stay up so we keep this prick of a manger and arsehole owners and these new age supporters then that makes you a cunt as you have joined the happy clappy brigade.

If we went down and got rid of this prick of a manager and made our owners decide its time for pastures new and the new supporters that don't want you to stand as it spoils their view, then i am OK with that. As I support us in good and bad times and don't need to be a supporter that thinks that football doesn't matter outside the Premier League.

Some of my most memorable times following West Ham have been outside the Premier League.

If you think football only matters inside the Premier League then I think that makes you the cunt. Cunt.
